Track Length: Eight months, September through April
Average Starting Hourly Pay: $16 – $22
The Pharmacy Technician pathway gives you the opportunity to learn to assist pharmacists by assuming many responsibilities, such as filling prescription orders, utilization of computer systems and software, and fulfilling other patient-specific duties to support a Registered Pharmacist in various practice settings such as retail or institutional pharmacy practice.
Graduates of the Pharmacy Technician pathway will have skills for pharmacy technician positions in retail or institutional pharmacy practice.
This track prepares graduates to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board Exam (PTCB) Exam.
