Lariesha Lee, LLMSW

Lariesha Lee, LLMSW, joined WMCAT in October of 2025 as the director of workforce development and brings more than 16 years of experience in higher education, social work, youth development, and the nonprofit sector. Previously, she served as the assistant director at Grand Valley State University’s Center for Women and Gender Equity, where she supported initiatives focused on access, belonging, and student empowerment.
Lariesha is a licensed social worker, educator, speaker, and entrepreneur. She earned her Master of Social Work and centers her work on holistic wellness and equity-driven leadership. In addition to her professional roles, she is the founder of LeadHERship Impact, a mentoring program for young Black women, and LeadHERWell Village, a wellness brand dedicated to supporting women’s mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
